Our History
Prior to 1976, Key Opportunities, then known as Quality Industries, was under the direction of the Hillsdale County Intermediate School District as a vocational program for school age students. In March of 1976, to insure growth and expand services to other county residents, Key incorporated as a private company, opening its doors as a non-profit, vocational rehabilitation facility. Since that time, Key has grown from an organization of 15 to a company of over 150 and transformed from focusing on facility based programming to an emphasis on community based, integrated, employment.
